Media Network Services Intros HD Video Conferencing Network
Media Network Services reportedly announced the introduction of its latest offerings, Telepresence (News - Alert) and High Definition (HD) Video Conferencing Network for large enterprises, and High Quality Video Conferencing for Small to Medium Businesses.
Officials at Media Network Services claim that their company’s video conferencing network solution is targeted for any business with existing video conference equipment to benefit from clear voice, HD video and related Telepresence benefits that include extremely low latency and an ‘As if I was there’ experience. Importantly, they say, customers no longer require dedicated and costly networks.
“We are very excited about the launch of our new global video conferencing network,” Haakon Bryhni, chief executive officer at Media Network Services. “Media Network Services can now enable any business to experience a maximized video conferencing experience while leveraging their existing video conferencing equipment.”
The company says that the main reason it has developed these products is because of the demand caused by the current trend of more and more companies turning to video conferencing solutions to reduce travel time and expenditure, and contribute towards reducing the global carbon footprint.
An incidental, opportunistic use could be for people to work remotely from places deemed ‘safe’ since Swine flu, now officially called Influenza A (H1N1) by the World Health Organization and also internationally deemed a pandemic forcing the nation to look at possible alternative methods to continue workflow.
The U.S. federal government’s National Strategy for Pandemic Influenza Implementation Plan highlights the significant advantages of using telecommunications and broadband connectivity related solutions to continue working remotely and avoid physical proximity, and therefore slow down the disease spread.
Official sources claim that their solutions can be applied to any module of existing video equipment and works over any network and still deliver the high quality experience that consumers are insisting on.
The Media Network Services solutions are overall cheaper because unlike older video conferencing solutions, customers no longer have to invest in dedicated hardware and software solutions that invariably worked only with each other. Also, another costly practise is now made obsolete with this new technology, say official sources, and that was investing in and using exclusive video conferencing networks.
The company says that its solutions are designed to suit most economy budgets that companies have access to in this global down economy, and its standard network offerings range from 768 kilo bits per second (kbps) to 6 Mega bps (Mbps) guaranteed capacity video conference bandwidth while the premium offering can meet the demand for any network capacity.
