Healthcare Technology and News: Dynamic Computer Corporation Inks Distribution Deal with Guard RFID

Guard RFID Solutions Inc., a Radio Frequency Identification tag supplier, has reportedly signed a distribution agreement with Dynamic RFID Solutions of Farmington Hills, Mich., to provide its next generation of Active RFID technology and solutions.

Dynamic Computer Corporation is a full-scale enterprise IT supplier and RFID systems integrator for industries including: Healthcare, Aerospace, Defense; Prime Contractors, Education, Government, Manufacturing, Pharmaceuticals and others. Under the agreement, Dynamic will distribute GuardRFID’s Infant Protection, Patient Protection and Asset Tracking solutions and making it available to its customers.

TotGuard is Gurard RFID’s Infant protection system that secures tiny patients through its latest RFID technology that supports alerts and alarms triggered by the TotGuard tags. It uses the only Disposable Infant Tags on the market, eliminating the need to clean, disinfect and sterilize tags after use, and removing the risk of cross-infection between infants.

SafeGuard is the company’s patient protection system which offers configurable alarms, and notifies hospital staff of events wherever patients are at a desk or on the move. OnGuard is the Asset tracking solution which supports SOX requirements by ensuring that assets are properly accounted for and their whereabouts are documented.

“Dynamic is dedicated to providing RFID-integrated solutions for hospitals to improve patient care, reduce costs and minimize risks. We have chosen GuardRFID, one of the fastest growing active RFID suppliers to help us fulfill this mission by offering technology to protect infants – our most vulnerable stakeholders,” said Farida Ali, president and chief executive officer at Dynamic.

“We have been seeking a scalable, reliable and proven Infant Security system to complete our suite of applications in this market. GuardRFID’s TotGuard solution uses cutting-edge active RFID and proven active RFID asset tracking technology to deliver many of the attributes that our customers have been asking for,” said Ali.

Ali also clarified that the ability to seamlessly scale out the solution to include other RFID applications as customer needs emerge is a key benefit of GuardRFID’s solution, as well as the ability to offer high level diagnostics and maintenance using its fully IP based approach.

“Dynamic is highly experienced in the design and deployment of Active RFID solutions, and is CompTIA RFID+ Certified. GuardRFID is privileged to partner with such an experienced systems integrator, knowing that our products will be represented and deployed with the highest standards,” said Zahir Abji, president and chief executive officer at Guard RFID Solutions.
