Healthcare Technology and News: Prime Clinical's Patient Chart Manager Offers Innovative Record System

Prime Clinical Systems is ready to deploy its innovative patients chart manager software meant to help medical group practices after receiving the government’s requisite stamp of approval.

After being tested and certified under InfoGard's Electronic Health Records Office of the National Coordinator Authorized Testing and Certification Body (ONC-ATCB) program, the user-friendly software will enable Prime Clinical to qualify for the government's incentive funds under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Additionally, the EHR software shows compliance to the 2011/2012 criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.

In a release, Barry Ardelan, CEO of Prime Clinical Systems, said, “The certification is another milestone in our company's history that simply confirms what we have known for a long time: We are producing software that truly meets the needs of group practices across the country. With this certification, medical groups can confidently implement our software -- and know that they are on the track toward meeting the government's incentive payment requirements.” According to Ardelan, Prime Clinical’s experience and expertise helps medical practices take advantage of next-generation technology products, ensuring quick and quality results.

Serving more than 10,000 physicians across the country, Prime Clinical provides practice management, document management as well as EHR systems along with customer service. Medical practice groups can confidently avail the electronic records system due to the fact that the system has been certified as being capable of meeting meaningful use requirements backed by the company’s focused business approach for more than quarter of a century.

Using the innovative Patient Chart Manager, physicians can develop individualized patient charts by customizing templates. With the ability to choose from a variety of input methods, physicians can input parameters using keyboard, advanced templates, drop down lists, handwriting enabled by stylus, dictation or voice recognition. One of the key features of the system is that a common central database is shared among all Prime Clinical’s solution since they are all developed in-house. This also enables seamless integration of the electronic record systems with Prime Clinical’s powerful practice management and billing system, Intellect.
